Microsoft Office 365 Support for Firefox 64-bit for Windows 10

more options

I have reinstalled Firefox 64-bit on a Win 10 Pro laptop. For Edge, IE and Chrome (and older versions of Firefox for Win 32/Firefox 32) there are Office 365 Add-ins and Extensions. I checked the Microsoft Office website and the Mozilla/Firefox website and cannot find anything that runs on Win 64 (irrespective of whether the browser is 32-bit or 64-bit). I checked with Microsoft and could not get any clarity. The only plug-in on their website is for Office 2010 and earlier. Can someone kindly provide some clarity?

Thank you in advance!

What kind of add-on were you hoping to use?

As far as I know, Microsoft includes its Office-related add-ons with Office, rather than offering them separately through an online store. If Firefox did not discover them in its routine scan of the registry for new extensions, there may not be any for Firefox.

That said, I don't have any personal experience with Office 365 -- does it install the Office 2016 applications?
