Why does Firefox think it's two days ago?

While trying to visit a website recently I received an insecure connection warning page stating my computer time is set incorrectly. The time and date are correct so something odd is going on. Below is the message on the warning page. WARNING! The link shown in the error message is for an adult site that may (does) contain female nudity.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

Firefox did not connect to tools.bongacams.com because your computer’s clock appears to show the wrong time and this is preventing a secure connection.

Your computer is set to 5/16/2017, when it should be 5/14/2017. To fix this problem, change your date and time settings to match the correct time.

Any idea why Firefox believes today is the 14th when it's actually the 16th?

Have you checked the computer's clock?

I get this on the site:

tools.bongacams.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate expired on May 16, 2017 at 4:59 PM. The current time is May 16, 2017 at 8:43 PM.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE

I wonder whether someone was trying to backdate the server time to extend the validity of their certificate? Anyway, it's clear they have a problem on their end.
