Flash videos have no video just audio
This happens on various websites that still use flash video. Like it says no picture only a black screen and audio. Oddly enough if i scroll the page the video plays but that is grueling. This happens as soon as i open the computer although sometimes i can get away with it if i restart the browser or the computer. I dont think i installed any addons recently. Everything is up to date, firefox, flash, video driver, adobe reader

That must be so annoying and frustrating !
Let's do this:
In the address bar type about:config
(promise to be careful)
Type async and wait while the list is filtered
Search for the Preference Named:
dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing
double-click it and set it's value to 'false'
