Sorry about the username....system kept telling me username was taken....oh well.

Situation: Laptop runs Thunderbird as email program. (ISP mail account had this one for years) iPad had both icloud and isp mail account ..... This seems IPhone has icloud and ISP mail account.

Problem: I can not reply to ISP account emails on iPhone..... So, how do I setup iPhone and/or thunderbird, so as to sync emails and be able to receive, send, and rly to emails on iPhone?

Note: these are mums devices. On my laptop I have outlook and I can sync all my emails, contacts, calendars, etc. with my iPad. I realize that the integration on my machines is seamless because I use exchange mail settings, but on mums machines this in not possible because she uses thunderbird.

Maybe I should get mum to buy msoffice and then setup her iPad accordingly?

Any help, would be appreciated. Thank you.

Maybe someone can fix your username for you...

What happens when you try to send mail from the iPhone -- is there a specific error message? It could be just an error in the SMTP/outbound settings in that mail client. Try matching the iPhone account settings to what she has set in Thunderbird.

To view the settings in Thunderbird, you can use Tools > Account Settings. If the menu bar is not visible and you're on Windows, try tapping the Alt key to display the bar temporarily.
