My email is being blocked (for days now) with this message The folder Inbox is full, and can't hold any more messages. To make room for more messages, delete any old or unwanted mail and compact the folder. The level of retained mail is much lower than in the past TWC Webmail says they are not even close to capacity so it is not them No email coming in for 4-5 days!!!!! Help!

What can I do to solve this most vexing problem?

Probably because your account it not IMAP. Only IMAP accounts have those entries.

Have you tried moving mail from the inbox which is apparently full to other folders and compacting (it is on the file menu, or the right click menu)

I have tried to compact but it does nothing? Have moved many emails into archive folders but that has not helped Also the number of emails showing in the bottom right corner are not showing emails I omitted on the webmail site?

What version of Thunderbird are you using? What is the size on disk when you right click the folder and select properties?
