Ver 42.0.1 on Amazon Firephone, Ver 43 on desktop. Synching worked until about a week ago, then erratic.

I have deleted the account from the phone, then relogged in. I have folders that had some bookmarks in them, but deleted them. Cannot delete the individual folders by highlighting and holding. Can't find any directions on how to delete these bookmark folders.

I am within the 5,000 bookmark limit, but need suggestions on how to synch again. It used to work perfectly until the recent update and new procedure. Same issue on 2nd phone.

Any help is appreciated.

You can delete individual bookmarks by long pressing on them in the bookmarks view. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/get-started-firefox-android#w_use-the-awesome-screen-to-quickly-find-what-you-need

If you are willing to reset Firefox completely (resetting your bookmarks, history, passwords and other data) this can be done by simply uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling Firefox from the Play Store.

I have deleted all bookmarks in the Amazon phone's Firefox. That's easy, but what seems impossible is the folders that remain. Can't press on them and delete. Syncing is a no-go, too.

If nothing else, I'd like to know how to take my desktop bookmarks and import them into the android version of Firefox!

Thanks!
