Very slow to check in box for mail. Using windows 7 pro
When I open Thunderbird it takes up to 15 sec to check 'in box' for mail. Why so slow? Never used to be.

The forum reports your using Windows 7 64Bit. What is windows 87pro?
My mistake...I have Windows 7 Pro...not 87
My problem again was it not takes 10-15 sec to check for mail in the 'in box'
Please Start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled - win7 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7
Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/safe-mode
Does problem go away? Please reply to let us know results.
