I have Firefox at work, where they have a policy file which restricts me from setting a homepage, setting Firefox as default, and remembering any history.

Now, because I used sync at work, and sync at home to sync my bookmarks, I can no longer set homepage at home, set Firefox as default, nor save login/password data, or search history. The only thing that persists is bookmarks.

Hi there, please check your preferences. Check to see whether Donot remember the history is opted or not. If so, then firefox is behaving as incognito mode, change that to remember the history to solve your problem.

Hope that helps. If problem persist, please feel free to ask anytime.

Okay, clearing the "Clear history on exit" seems to have fixed the problem. I'm calling this one Solved until it is not :-P

Thanks!
