Can't load "live" Xfinity TV Go content in Firefox 40 (Windows 7)

When running Xfinity TV Go, after selecting "Live TV" and a program option, I get a blank screen with a "Loading Video" message and an animated progress bar with 3 dots. However, no content loads. I've let it run up to 30 minutes--same result. TV Go works fine with IE (haven't tried Chrome). Any suggestions, such as a cache setting under Firefox options? I haven't found anything that looks relevant. IE worked after I changed a setting that enabled video content to run automatically.

Thanks.

Hi

I have had a look into this one and from what I can see, the service you are trying to use makes use of the Flash plugin. Further to the information you have supplied (many thanks!) it looks like you are running the most up to date version.

The Flash plugin has its own cache of past pages that you may wish clear. Adobe have instructions as to do this here. This may help you to view the video or live stream you wish to play.

I hope this resolves the issue, but if not please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
