Hi, I'm always getting these links on my browser that lead to ads and ads are always popping up behind my open page . I am using a mac by the way. Any help?
The first kind of ads are the links, when i open a page there are always links on the paragraphs and basically any words on the page and if i hover over them they pop out and the other kind of ads are always popping up in the background they are pages with videos that play and i hate it i constantly have go out and close them its really annoying thank you to anyone who can help. And YES my block pop up ads is on.

Sounds that you have picked up some malware. You can check for recently installed suspicious or unknown extensions.

I notice that you still use Firefox 37, so also please update to the current release.
If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then best is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
