I have several websites that i view that have live webcams that you can view. You see movements, trees moving, people walking, ocean water moving. However, the past week it only shows still view of the webcam. This is true for my desktop computer as well as android device. It does work properly on chrome, and also on my kindle. However no longer works on firefox which was my favorite browser until now,. I even had geek squad investigate for me and was told it is something wrong with firefox. Why?please advise

Strange you cannot work directly with developer and need to have a forum. Guess i need to find a better browser with people who will personally address my problem.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.

Can you provide link(s) to where you have this problem?

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
