When I read news articles and the article posts the number of comments left, I cannot access those comments. Each time, regardless of the publication, a blank space appears where the comments should appear. (I have had to ask friends to cut and paste the comments to send to me, since they clearly display on their computers.) How do I fix this?

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

Pardon my ignorance, but how do I launch firefox in safe mode?

no worries, this is getting explained in the article i've posted in my prior reply.

Thanks, Philipp: I will give that a try.

Disable Ghostery and/or adblock and/or noscript for that site. You're probably doing it to yourself.

I have the same problem with https://www.yahoo.com/politics. I have tried disabling ALL add-ons, didn't solve it. Neither did clearing cookies, cache, etc or rebooting Windows 7. No problem with all other yahoo sites, only yahoo.politics. Very frustrating, because I have to switch to google chrome just for it.

Hi onkobo

Could you please start a new thread for your question?

Then you can provide more information like your operating system and installed extensions and installed plugins.

You can check the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) for error messages.

You can check the Network tab is blocked (i.e. has a file size zero).
