Why is it so hard to save the address book with the email addresses to a new folder or for importing?
After reading all these problems concerning the address book and the email addresses why hasn't anyone taken the time to simplify this disaster? I don't need to open another email account that I will never use again only to have it hacked! All I need is a way to save my address book names AND addresses in case of a disaster. I can put it on a thumb drive and save it for importing or whatever. Help

What are you talking about?
Open the address book window. Select Tools-Export

Your right! not hard at all! Now that it's saved it won't open. Nothing seems to recognize the file ext.
I guess I just wasn't asking the right questions to get the right answers. Then someone came to my rescue. Thank you
If you want to open the file with Excel or Open Office then change the file format to Comma Separated instead of LDIF.
