Click Start, click Run, type bthprops.cpl, and then click OK. If your computer has bluetooth capabiliteis, it will launch "Bluetooth Devices". If you successfully opened Bluetooth Devices, then your computer does have Bluetooth capabilities, otherwise, it does not have... If it has: On the Options tab, click to select the Turn discovery on check box, and then click Apply. To enable Bluetooth devices to connect to your computer, click to select the Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer check box, and then click OK.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your kind reply.

I tried to type bthprops.cpl and click OK. There was no response at all.

Does that mean my computer is not bluetooth enabled or it means anything else.?

Kumar,

Most likely, no bluetooth. But, could you tell me, what Aspire One model is it? Does it have a button with the bluetooth logo?

Mine is Aspire One-Model ZG5

There in no Bluetooth button on the keyborad.

Incidentally, my desktop (latest) running on Win 8.1, Hewlett Packard System model 400-235d System type:x64 based PC also did not respond when I typed "bthprops.cpl".

There is no bluetooth symbol button in my original keyboard which came along with theSystem.

Sorry, Kumar, but the ZG5 notebooks are not bluetooth enabled, this is why you cannot find it. The command I provided you is for Win XP only (Service Pack 2 or later). This is the final answer, I guess.
