how can I remove the 'allow fullscreen' message which appears on my website's video's, & not just in my own browser?

I have a website with videos hosted on Vimeo. When I click the 'fullscreen' button, the video goes into fullscreen but I am presented with a message asking to 'allow or deny fullscreen for vimeo.com'.

I know I can stop this message in my own Firefox browser (click 'allow' and 'remember' for vimeo.com, or go to 'about:permissions' in Firefox address bar).

But I want to stop other viewers to my website having to deal with this message, is there any css code/ workaround to stop this message appearing for other viewers, rather than each of them having to change their own browser preferences?

Many Thanks

check on the option that appears under it and it wont ask you again

That's not a Firefox support issue. Ask Vimeo about how to control that message for all visitors to your website.

That is standard behavior when websites use the full screen API and you click a button on a web page or in a media player.

You can manage the full screen permission via "Tools > Page Info > Permissions" or via the about:permissions page.

There is a pref (about:config) that controls the default behavior although it is not recommended to change the default.

@haidersajjad I know this works for my own browser as I stated, but I wondered if there is a way to stop the box appearing for 'other viewers to website'.

@the-edmeister Ironically I asked on the Vimeo forum first and they said: 'Unfortunately this is something to do with web browsers not Vimeo'

@cor-el Thanks, I thought this would only work for my own browser, will this work for other viewers?

No, you can't prevent showing this message to ask for permission as this is one of the privacy/security settings in Firefox.
