Using Foxit PhantomPDF program (v 6.2.0.0319). With Firefox v26 I have no problem using [PhantomPDF printer] from within Firefox. ANY update after v26 stops me from printing from within the browser. If I display a page and [print/preview] I see the correct page preview. If I then <print> the normal printer selection pull down menu does not appear and all I hear is a "ding". I have returned to v26 several times and verified that the printing problem then goes away. A fresh install of Foxit PhantomPDF program did not correct this problem. Sure looks like a Firefox bug. My system is XP-pro sp3 and I use Malwarebytes Pro and Avast pro for my virus and malware protection. Suggestions anyone ???

Foxit works fine in FF v26 but doesn't work in later updates. Foxit ALSO works fine in IE8. It does NOT work in current FF 29.0.1 In FF v29 the print device selection pull down does not appear and I only hear a "ding". This problem is related to FF versions >26.0

hello, this problem is commonly caused by avast - try to update or uninstall it...
