I followed the instructions on deleting and adding search engines through the manager.

Added one then tried to add another but the drop down box did not list the engine. Went to the engine in question and Firefox would not recognize the web page in the drop down box.

   Any suggestions?

I have installed any new search plugins that I wanted from mycroft.mozdev.org, and they install without any problem. I have never tried to install more than one at a time.

Just in case finitarry's idea doesn't work, I'll throw in my thoughts:

As an experiment, I just installed several new search engines at once to my search bar (using the search engine manager), and they all installed fine and searched successfully for me. So....

It's possible one of your other extensions is interfering with the process or you have a corrupt file in your FF profile. Have you installed other plugins/extensions recently or have had any other problems with FF?

If you can't get anything installed from the other site, can you list a few search engines you were trying to install?

The search engine finally installed through the manager. I appreciate the help that was given.

Thank you!!!!
