I tryed to open Firefox but instead, it came out an error saying something like "Firefox is already running but is not responding." So, I desided to uninstall it. Now when I go to Install it again on getfirefox.com, the system does not run automatically. Nothing happens! Please help.

After loading getfirefox.com you then need to click in the "Free Download" banner to begin the download of Firefox.

Bring up the Windows Task Manager, then on the "Processes" tab NOT the "Application" select "firefox.exe" and use the "Del" key or the "End Process" button, can also be done from the context menu there.

To bring up the WTM by right clicking on empty space on your Windows task bar, then clicking on "Start Task Manager".

Firefox must be taken down for the install to continue once the installation starts. The proper way is to use File > Exit, but if Firefox is still running, you will need to use the task manager to terminate Firefox.

When reinstalling Firefox from a download, Firefox must be down once the installation starts. When the installation finishes, don't let the install start firefox for you. Instead end the install and start Firefox in your normal manner, thus preventing creating a new profile which does not have your bookmarks cookies, etc (but your old profile would still be around and would).
