It would certainly be helpful to have known how many program components would cease to function and compare this with any improvements. Firefox, you are better than this, get these and whatever else isn't working dealt with before release or an minimum, let us know..

You can access the Google Translate website directly.

If you don't want a separate bookmark for Google Translate, just go to the Google home page http://www.google.com/ and click on "more". Translate is the first option listed.

Having to cut and paste the URL into Google Translate's page is a work-around, but certainly not a replacement for Google Toolbar's autotranslate feature, which I use *very* frequently. I'm sure I'm far from alone in this.

Ask Google when they're going to update the Google Toolbar extension, it is their product and they are responsible for keeping it up to date as new versions of Firefox are released. Tomorrow it will be 3 weeks since Firefox 5.0 was released, and in another 3 weeks Firefox 6.0 is slated to be released, I wonder if Google is not going to have a version of the Google Toolbar for Firefox going forward? I see that they have a new version - Google Toolbar 8, in beta for Internet Explorer, but can't seem to find a corresponding version for Firefox.
