I get an error message about sending password when I click on get messages.

When I click on "get messages"I get the following error:

 Error with account jimbir@yahoo.com

sending of password to user jimbir@yahoo.com did not succeed. Mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com responded server error. I have my email popped from Yahoo. I recently changed the password on it. I have no problem logging in to Yahoo mail. Can someone help me out?

Passwords are managed on the mail provider's site. TB, or any other email program, just applies the password that is determined elsewhere. 'Changing' a password in TB means editing the one stored in Options after it is officially changed with the provider.

Did you change the password in TB Tools/Options/Security/Passwords/Saved passwords, show passwords, right-click the entries for incoming and outgoing, Edit Password?

I change the password to match the one in Yahoo mail and it works fine.I didn't know you had to do this.
