Firefox downloads and installs updates when IT wants to. This causes my computer to stall and I cannot do anything till it finishes. I want to be able to choose WHEN this should happen.

Hi, open the 3-bar menu > Options - General > Firefox updates > Allow Firefox to... Check for updates but let you choose to install them.
