How do I keep my DuckDuckGo search results from being displayed in the Firefox tab?

more options

My DuckDuckGo search results are diplayed in the Firefox tab name. I want to make sure that information is not displayed.

You can turn this off by going to duckduckgo.com/settings, selecting the "privacy" tab, and turning off GET requests.

If you use DDG with the POST setting, then after your results display a script erases your query from the tab and it just shows DuckDuckGo (and the back button just shows DuckDuckGo). If you switch to the GET setting, then the tab shows your query (and the back button shows your query).

Could you check your DDG setting? Click the menu button at the upper right of the page (three light gray horizontal bars) > Advanced Settings > Privacy. To the right of GET make sure you have "Off" as in the attached screen shot.

Does it work for you?
