I want to include a character (Alt-0169) from the Symbol font in the body of an email, but that font is not available in the drop-down menu. Any way to do this?

Just hold the alt key and type 0169 and you get a copyright symbol. I am not sure why or where you are looking at a drop down menu.

You can find a copyright symbol under Insert-Characters and Symbols but that is harder to do.
