Recently, within the last 3 weeks or so, I have become unable to log in to amazon.com using Firefox Focus for Android. This is a new development. I can still browse Amazon pages while logged out, and hitting the button to log in still brings me to the page to enter phone number or email address. However, entering email address/phone and then pressing the Sign In button redirects the user to a page saying that cookies must be enabled in order to log in.

Again, this is very recent. I previously did all my Amazon shopping within Firefox Focus for Android without issues.

1) Reporting this change. 2) Is there any extension for Firefox that makes a browser believe it can store cookies? I doubt it, but had to ask. Thanks.

When looking support for a different issue with Firefox Focus for Android, attempted to log in to make a support request. Unable to log in to Mozilla Support while using... Firefox Focus for Android. Get endless spinny-wheel. Could not log in without switching to Firefox for Android.

I'm on a Pixel 7 and I use Firefox Focus as my default browser app for news/socials/daily browsing. It's not connected to any Google accounts and I erase as I go along to avoid cookies/marketing/ad tracking. I also run Bitdefender. Focus background data usage is off.

Today I ran out of mobile data and on checking apparently Firefox Focus used 9GB of foreground data just today. I'm not sure how, as I was only on mobile data for about an hour, and the phone was in my pocket for that time. It shows 11 minutes of screen time, but 49% of my battery used today.

Is this a bug, or have I been hacked/compromised?

I did post this before, and Paul replied (thanks) but he didn't suggest a solution. When I add bookmarks to the Firefox Focus home screen, those icons are cut off, so the label is very difficult to read. If this is a bug then I reported it earlier to Bugzilla, but if it is not a bug then how can I fix it, please? Thank you.

I used to share videos seamlessly on social media through the YouTube share option but recently I have found that all my share options on my YouTube are gone. This happens only on my Firefox browser I double checked on my safari browser as well as google chrome and the share options are visible there. I believe this means that its only those share options are missing from my Firefox browser not my YouTube account. please help me resolve this issue.

I have added (as a start) some web shortcuts to my Firefox Focus home screen. However, they are cut off, so I can only see the top part of the label. I can work out what they are but what happens when I add more shortcuts? How can I see the whole shortcut and label, please? I'm using Android version 14.

iOS is the latest version of 15 and 16.

Question 1.

We use it as a content blocker for Safari.

When I open iCloud notes, the characters are not displayed. Only the photo will be displayed. If you remove the content blocker, it will be displayed normally.

The language used is Japanese.

Can I avoid it by setting focus?

I thought I'd check the iOS version.

If you enter iOS 16.7.8 in the search field, you will get a URL error.

I can do it with other browsers, but why can't I do it with focus?

I'm using Focus on iOS. I have recently changed the password for a frequently used site, but Focus always cues me with the obsolete password. I can go into Lockwise and get the right one, but is there some way to clear this cached old password? I use Firefox and have it synced between iOS and Windows versions. It does not have this issue because the Firefox menu has a clear site data etc. option. How can I do this for Focus? Thanks.

Simple: Will there ever be more than four shortcuts within Firefox Focus for Android? This is the only limiting factor I don't understand. I love this browser for everything else it does better than the standard Firefox, but this is the limiting factor... I would understand if the screen would be full, but it is not. A 4x6 matrix, maybe adjustable in the options how much, fits perfectly on probably all mobiles. The "put shortcuts on mobile desktop" is not a solution, that is already full enough as it is.

I was looking up a Kinder candy product called "Happy Hippo" yesterday afternoon, and briefly surfed around a website for a weird American supplement company with the same name that also came up in the search results. (Just out of curiosity trying to figure out what the supplement they were selling even was.)

That supplement company subsequently showed up in my inbox this morning offering me a discount code. And to state the obvious: I ABSOLUTELY did not give this sketchy supplement company my email address while on their site.

I would be alarmed to find any company tracking me to my inbox after simply browsing their website for less than two minutes, but for it to happen after using Firefox Focus, I'm also dismayed.

I've already unsubscribed from their mailings and sent a strongly worded email about the invasion of internet user privacy, but half the problem must also lie on Firefox Focus' end. I don't know who can look for bugs or loopholes that would have let this happen, but hopefully reporting it here will start that process.

Hi there, When I try to use Firefox Focus by tapping the search bar (see screenshot), my phone keyboard does not appear. No matter how many times I tap. I have tried clearing cache, deleting the app's data, restarting my phone, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. None of these fixed the issue. This makes the app completely unusable. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

EDIT: The keyboard app I am using is Gboard - it came pre-installed on my phone.

I am trying to open about:config in Firefox Focus Android (normal version, no beta), and it does not open. Is this a bug or by design? Please not "by design". What I want to change: The number of rows on the shortcuts, since only four shortcuts are not enough.
