Hi, I've recently downloaded firefox and trying to add extensions that were similar to the ones I used on chrome. My problem is that all the extensions (Hoverzoom, Short Keys) in the extensions tab in the toolbar and appear to not be working (both in private and normal browsing). However the extensions (Ublock, SponsorBlock) that have their own icon on the toolbar seem to be working fine.

I changed the 'mousewheel.with_shift.action' to a '5' in 'about:config' to be able to use pinch zoom on my desktop with a keyboard and mouse, like I'm able to do on my phone or laptop with a touch screen. This does work properly and I'm able to pinch zoom by holding down the Shift key and scrolling my mouse wheel up and down.

However, there is an issue of sensitivity. The pinch zoom is painfully slow, and I have been unable to adjust its speed. If there exists an option to change the pinch zoom sensitivity, I'd greatly appreciate the help.

After update to 126.0.1 I cant access two of the four windows that are open. They are still listed under the Window toolbar option but clicking on them reveals nothing, as if hidden except they are not in the Mac toolbar. Not sure if this is a new feature or glitch, any help would be great, the two windows I can't currently access contain alot of tabs I need.

There are a bunch of obsolete suggestions on opening FF without address bar, menu bar, etc., and kiosk mode.

I do not want Kiosk mode, but do need ability to open it via command line so that only the title bar (and borders around the app.

The most current available entry on the matter in the Mozilla site no longer works (at least for me) --

Also even if it did, not viable to update all FF users as these are customers, and they won't, simple as that. Chromium browsers just work by passing the command by default.

This is for use to launch a local help/users guide from a Windows application. Can do so on Chrome/Edge, but leaving out FF is less than ideal.

I occasionally get a Authentication Failed to Server (Outlook.com) and when it occurs it continues for 1-5 minutes then goes away again.

Is there any error logging proceedure that I can set up to see what the exact issue is?

I've tried running a parallel alternative email client (eM Client) and that doesn't seem to suffer in the same way, but I much prefer Thunderbird so would like to find out what the problem is.

I us an M2 Mac. I like Thunderbird, but prefer the Betterbird card view. Is there any way I can replicate this in Thunderbird?

I have attached two screenshots - one Betterbird, the other Thunderbird. I much prefer the Betterbird look, without the card frames and with the blue message header.

You might well say 'use Betterbird then!'. The problem is that Betterbird is not available in a native Apple Silicon version, only Intel, and therefore runs in emulation mode. Thunderbird has a native Apple Silicon version.

Just two small changes. Remove the card frame and make the unread message header blue. Surely that's possible somehow in Thunderbird?

streaming websites taking too much time to open. Example - YouTube, ZEE5, YT music, JioCinema etc. I can login to Netflix and explore everything but I can't play video because of firefox's video player problem. Social media X's video is not auto playing. Usually I do use Max 10 tabs. My phone is at Android 14. I have a better internet so there's no net speed Problem.

Yesterday I found that emails are not displaying in the folders. At the top alongside "Inbox" it says I have 28 emails but only 12 are displaying, and this is repeated in other folders. The attached photo shows another folde saying there are 35 messages in the inbox but only 8 displayed. Where are the others?

Also, now when I open the program no new emails appear and the "Get Messages" does not download any new emails.

I have not made any changes to anything .

I am running Thunderbird on another laptop and it is fine. Are there any fixes or do I have to reinstall the program?

My wife & I have the same PCs running Windows 10 & Thunderbird 115.11.0 (32bit).

We have a hosted web-site that also supports email, and we each have an email account (eg neddy@goon.com.au & minnie@goon.com.au). I've checked that both our POP server configurations are identical but despite that about once a week minnie@goon.com.au receives a warning to add security exception but neddy doesn't. This started happening two weeks ago after a years error free running.

The host has checked that goon.com.au has a valid SSL certificate, so what could be causing the discrepancy and how do I set about fixing it please?

How can you create **multiple** Firefox website shortcuts to the taskbar in Windows 11?

I have spent 90 minutes looking everywhere on the web--few people seem to understand the question--and no suggestions I can find anywhere on the web are correct.

NOTE: not referring to one single Firefox shortcut on the taskbar--that's easy.

I'm referring to pinning an ADDITIONAL shortcut to the taskbar (in FF to another website).

NOTE: not referring to creating multiple shortcuts in Firefox ON the desktop.

When creating multiple shortcuts on deskstop--there is no "Pin to taskbar" option in the context menu when the shortcut is right clicked. The only option is: "unpin from taskbar option." see uploaded image

Previously, it was possible--in Windows 10--to pin multiple Firefox shortcuts to the taskbar. It is still possible in Edge and Chrome. [I prefer Firefox and do not like to access my Google account on Chrome or Edge.]

So: how to create multiple shortcuts in Firefox to pin to Windows 11 taskbar?

Just installed latest version of Firefox - and cannot login into the browser to enable applications menu.

I can login into my Mozilla account but how do you login to this new version of the browser?

Each time that I open an email, another tab appears in the status bar: Thunderbird Privacy Notice. I need to manually delete them for each email that I open. This is a nuisance. How can I stop these tabs from cluttering my status bar?

I have a problem in Firefox where I can't log into Chewy. I get the error "Secure Connection Failed". Turning off extensions doesn't help, this seems to be a root problem with Firefox itself. I can sign in using Edge.

I cannot even download firefox because im getting an error message " cannot create temp archive folder" It wont even launch the install files. Something orgininally happened to firefox on my computer because i wasnt able to download anything with the browser download manager. I need help
