Hi,

I would propose a feature request as follows to show a more detailed mail history in Thunderbird:

  • List full email adresses in mail history from TO: and CC: addresses (currently only the display names are used)
  • List full subject line for each mail quote (currently no subject line is listed in mail history)
  • List filenames of attachments (I think this was already done in some previous versions of Thunderbird but it has been removed for whatever reason, it would be very nice to include this feature again)

Or is this already possible with the current Thunderbird version?

Regards Klaus

If you consider implementing this it would be nice to even improve this feature by not only list the filename of the attachment but also (maybe in brackets) write down the filesize of the attachment and maybe in addition attend a checksum (MD5 or something) for validation reason.
