When I start Windows 10 and then try to start Mozilla VPN there is a red warning at the bottom of the Mozilla screen that says that the Mozilla background service not running (or loading, can't remember. If I click on that red bar it will load the background service and then the Mozilla VPN runs normally. Could you tell me how to get rid of the startup warning so that it loads the vpn without the hassle? Many thanks, Gord

Hi there,

This is a good question.

From your notes it sounds as though the service that runs the VPN when launched is not functioning properly.

If you are familiar with accessing your services.msc directory on your windows computer, then you could look for the VPN service and make sure it is enabled to start when launching the app.

However, I would suggest that you do a fresh install to try and resolve the issue first. Logging out and then uninstalling the app should clear all the files downloaded for the app. Reinstall fresh afterwards and then sign back in and see if the same issue persists.
