Just as the question says... don't want to see or have to de-select the 'default' US English in either spell-check or language selections. I have add-ons for French and English English which I use regularly but can't seem to find a solution to remove the US version. It isn't listed in the dictionaries list I can access so any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance UK

What kind of browser language do you prefer?

The en-US Firefox version comes with the en-US dictionary. The en-GB and French (fr) versions come without a dictionary (not sure about 'fr'). If you have the en-US Firefox version then you can consider to install the en-GB version since you already have the English and French dictionaries.

Note that the built-in en-US dictionary is stored in the dictionaries folder in the Firefox program folder, so it is possible to remove the files from that location.

You can download Firefox for whatever language you want. Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}

That would then become the default.
