For several weeks (since an update to Firefox was installed) I have not been able to get FIrefox to connect to my internet service provider home page. I keep getting:

Unable to connect Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at www.iserv.net.

I can connect to many other web sites, and it isn't a firewall issue either.

You can check the connection settings.

  • Options/Preferences -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

You can try to use the DNS Lookup tool on the about:networking page.

Interesting, the link in your answer went directly to the server web site. I saved it as a bookmark, then went to the Home section of the Options tool and set the home page to the saved web site. It now works correctly.

Thank you
