I can't get any app from Google to stay open. It's a nightmare. I've restarted several times. Doesn't help. Everyother page is working.

Is this a bug in the latest version?

I get this same message. The page flashes on then crashes and this message appears.

Is it still possible to sing into Lockwise on my iPhone? Have attempted using two different Firefox accounts without a completed connection. After entering password the Get Started page returns asking for login

For a number of months, I have not been able to update firefox to my Linux system. I download it and opened the downloaded file, opened various files, but nothing happens. I have tried using various methods to download and update it, but I continue to get a message that update is available. I'm currently using 121.0.1. I have a number of download files in my download folder, such as..."/home/jim/Downloads/firefox-128.0(1).tar.bz2" I tried to uninstall and reinstall "How to remove Mozilla Firefox from Ubuntu"

   sudo apt remove firefox.
   sudo rm -Rf /usr/bin/firefox.
   sudo rm -Rf /usr/loca/firefox.
   sudo snap remove firefox.

and then this "Install Firefox" First, add the Mozilla signing key $ sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 6DCF7707EBC211F. And then install the latest version of Firefox with this command: $ sudo apt install firefox. These commands seem to complete normally, but I continue to get "update available" messages. I give up. I've done everything I can think of. Help would be greatly appreaciated. Jim

If watching any video in full screen, upon restoring Firefox back to "normal view" the entire program changes its position on my monitor. In regular mode (IE; not full screen) the position of the program on the screen - flush with my top and bottom panels - but NOT full screen is unaffected when closing and re-opening Firefox. The change in screen position is only when going from full screen view to non-full screen mode. OS: Ubuntu MATE 22.04.4 LTS 64 bit Firefox Ver: 115.14.0 ESR 64bit

Pressing Alt in Firefox in Linux (Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Linux Mint 22.xx) brings up a top menu, which is hugely annoying as I'm always trying to to a window action if I'm pressing Alt.

The suggested solution is to go to about:config and change ui.key.menuAccessKeyFocuses to "false".

But this keeps reverting itself. (Between every other reboot?). Alt will again bring up this menu.

How can I permanently disable this shortcut?

I am trying to change my email preferences and the following is occuring: 1) from my account, I select Email Communications, which takes me to 2) https://basket.mozilla.org/fxa/?email=cswaim%40jcrl.net and that prompts me to sign in 3) after signing in, I am displayed https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/newsletter/recovery/ 4) I enter my email address and I am sent a link via email https://clicks.mozilla.org/f/a/8zrp86jZnVL2dfBjXU6Jvw~~/AAQRxQA~/***stuff deleted*** 5) this link takes em to step 2, and the loop continues.

I don't seem to be able to get all information to go to my primary email address, some goes to a secondary email, which is inactive.

I recently updated my macOS to Ventura 13.6.9 along with updating to the newest Firefox Nightly; now whenever I try to launch Firefox, it just hangs and will never load the start page. If I give it about 5-10 minutes, it will eventually load the favorites bar, and then when I click into the address bar to type, it hangs again. If I give it another few minutes, I can type but hitting enter/return, nothing happens.

If I restart my MBP and hold shift to boot into safe mode, Firefox loads perfectly fine with no issues or hangs at all. I'm just not sure what is different that would be causing it to hang when booting into regular mode?

Intermittently find browser open on its own @ homepage without any action on my part.

I have a subscription to the FAZ and have always been able to read it in Firefox. Now that I have a new computer with the latest Windows 11 and the latest Firefox, I can no longer open the page https://zeitung.faz.net/. But it works fine in Google Chrome. Please tell me which settings I need to change so that I don't have to change browsers

I got a new Macbook Pro recently and set it up by basically copying my iMac onto it. All works great. Except that the MBP doesn't show up with it's synced open taps on my iMac or my iphone. The iMac doens't show up on the MBP either.

Have I maybe copied some setting that makes the two machines (iMAc and MBP) thinkt they're one and the same? How can I "separate" the devices so that they show up in each other's Synced Tabs lists, respectively?

When my Firefox browser updated to version 129 I was signed out of my Mozilla account. Is this something that I can expect with each update? Or are there certain updates that may require sign back in to sync data? Is there a setting to prevent the Mozilla account sign out when updating the browser?

I was a dumbass and clicked the "Do not ask me again" checkbox for a website setting that I definitely need to be asked each time I try to delete something. How do I go back and undo that?

This morning, for the first time, I closed my Firefox browser and a whole new page showed up, mostly advertising from rightdailyfeed.com -- I didn't request this and I don't want to see it again. Did Firefox impose this content on me without asking my permission? The site I had been using was https://news.google.com/topstories; did they do this to me? How do I prevent another such intrusion of such garbage?

I'd like to be able to see the help page on audible in desktop browser and see if there is a problem with the audio sample players in firefox browser. I can still listen to the samples from my wish list but not in a general search. I can still open the help page in chrome but not Firefox and it is annoying having to switch browsers.

My email application is zmailcloud.com from Cloudiance. It has worked fine for me for years using Firefox. However, in the last week or so, when I open an email message, I cannot see anything but empty "From"and To" fields. Nothing is in the body of the message, either (see attached screenshot). But, if I open a reply or forward message, everything in the original message appears normal (see other screenshot). This problem does not occur using Micrsoft Edge, only Firefox. Anyone have any suggestions???

Until a few days ago (circa 8/8/24 ?) Google Translate worked perfectly via Firefox browser.

The same Google Translate session could be left open all day and used for multiple translations, reversing translation direction, copy/pasting into the 'source' language box or typing directly into the source language box ... whatever ... it all worked fine.

Now? I open a Google Translate in a new tab (usually English-> Thai or Thai -> English)

The FIRST translation works fine!

Any subsequent change to the same tab produces a 'Translation error' or sometimes the translation just hangs. Closing that tab and opening a new tab for Google Translate (and copy/pasting same text into it) works fine first time, but then fails on any subsequent change in exactly the same way!

Opening Google Translate in a Chrome window right next to Firefox and pasting exactly the same text into it works perfectly and the Chrome window works perfectly all day.

Looks like my Firefox version 129.0 has been stable for a while.

Is it possible Google changed something recently that now makes it difficult for Firefox to play with it?
