Go to Tools | Add-ons | Plugins and disable the My Web Search plugin. (it's spyware and will interfere with your Google searches).

Then go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall it from there.

Also, update Java via Windows Control Panel | Java | Update Now.

firefox 4 is not ready for the public. this is the first firefox browser that has screwed up on every level. if you mozilla forces this new version and don't support V3 then Firefox will no longer be my favorite browser. so basically 10 years down the tubes. I never thought I would say this but FireFox4 Sucks.
