Firefox (3,6 and now 4.0) always ask me what to do with (among other) .doc files, even though I checked "don't ask me again".

I have had this problem since (at least) version 3.6. Each time I download a file, I get the window that asks me what I want to do. It doesn't help to check "don't ask me again" or to go in in Applications and choose "open with" the right program, Firefox will still ask me... I could live with the bug, but still, it's been a long time that checkbox been there and not done its job... Thanks for help!

Ok, never mind... There is no solution to my problem. My problem happened mostly when opening attachments from Yahoo, for example, and they have this header-thing that makes Firefox HAS to ask me if I want to open it or save it. Rats! Got confused about that checkbox which shouldn't be there. See old bug report. Would like to see that fixed though... Thanks!
