I am using an iMac that uses MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.6. Because of its age, it cannot use an operating system beyond High Sierra. When I selected to update Firefox today, Apple generated a message that said Firefox would no longer work on my computer. Firefox 102.14 Oesr (64-bit) is installed and seems to work.

Will I no longer be able to update Firefox?

See system requirements. You should be able to upgrade to 115 ESR.

Hi, I suspect the message meant that you won't be able to run Firefox 116, which was just released last week. But with your version of Mac OS, you will have one more "major" update, to the Extended Support Release -- that's the little "esr" you see on the version number -- of Firefox 115. (See: Firefox users on macOS 10.12, 10.13 and 10.14 moving to Extended Support Release)

I think that should happen automatically the week of August 29th or September 26th. No need to do anything for now unless you want to do it sooner.

Note that you will still get 102.15.0 before getting moved to 115.3.0.

Since you are already using 102.14.0 ESR, I assume that you shouldn't need to take extra action and the update will happen automatically.
