To the get to the point, simply put the firefox incognito window is not in the same (from what I can best describe) lane as a normal window. How do i reverse this, because this frustrates me more than I would have thought

Currently there is only an about:config configuration parameter for this: browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled=false. Others have requested a user facing option for this, you could subscribe for the thread here: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/add-option-to-disable-icon-of-private-window-on-taskbar/idi-p/11472
