Migrate History from Firefox 56 to 52 ESR
How can I save my History from Firefox 56 to 52 ESR.
Copying places.sqlite (like before) doesn't work anymore. Firefox 52 think's it's corrupt and starts with a fresh one.
Sad to see the fox rotten...

Is there at least a way to migrate my history from firefox to chromium?
Shouldn't be a problem with browsing history when reverting to Firefox 52 ESR from Firefox 56.
Firefox 52 ESR should open fine after the Profile was used with Fx 56, and browsing history should be intact. The only issue when reverting from Fx 56 has to do with the favicon images saved with bookmarks that were saved while using Fx 55 or 56; Fx55 received a new favicon storage file system.
As far as Chromium goes, why not ask their support forum if Chromium will import browsing history from Firefox?
