Since yesterday I have been unable to send or receive email through Thunderbird.

I am able to log in to webmail (godaddy webmail client) and use email through there, but not through Thunderbird. My server/log-in details haven't changed, and I've checked they are correct.

When I send-received, it says 'Connect: Host for pop.secureserver.net contacted, sending login information...' but then seems to give up and gives me the following error:

Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server pop.secureserver.net responded: +OK

Hope you can help,

Best, Justin

You say that server/log-in details haven't changed. How about the password? Your provider may also have changed login-details.

In my experience it helps sometimes to delete the password using

Preferences > Security > Passwords > Saved Passwords

by selecting the password and then pressing the Remove button. No need to change account settings/setup in Thunderbird.

When you restart Thunderbird and connect to the server TB will ask you for the (new/same) password.
