Firefox 3.6.3 crashed in XP sp3, and when restarted, displayed the restore session screen, but hangs when displayed and doesn't respond to mouse clicks. I have to use Task Manager to close the program. Uninstall/Re-install doesn't change anything.

This can be a problem with the file sessionstore.js in the Profile Folder Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak and any existing files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js .
