I had an unresponsive firefox window with a dozen or more tabs. The last time this happened I closed it with the mouse via GUI but session restore didnt work. This time I decided to kill firefox via the terminal using the process ID. I was able to restore this session after restarting firefox but things such boomarking, etc didn't work. I restarted firefox again and bookmarks are working now but I can't log into my email using Microsoft outlook and other websites like reddit, stackoverflow etc. Not all websites are like this, some are working. What I tried: I tried deleting the cookies.sqlite and cookies.sqlite.bak in my firefox directory but it didn't work. I tried restarting firefox in safe mode without extensions but this also didn't work. Finally I tried logging into my email using firefox private mode but that also didnt work.
