The above build is not specially for Android 2.1 . The Firefox Mobile encounters now a problem with Eclair Android.

Let us know if works.

Above application is not working at all. First of all, it took almost 20 minutes to install. After when I open it, it is getting constantly hang and my android constantly showing me message for "Force Close" the application.

After so many efforts, when I tried to open even google, it can't. Instead it was showing some error of incorrect page.

Can anyone please help me to find correct firefox application for my device?

Thanks & Regards, Priyank Shah

The Android 2.1+ requirement is just one of a few requirements needed. Where ever you saw the Android 2.1+ should also have stated that a ARMv7 type of cpu is required.

The phone is basically a budget phone and has aQualcomm MSM7225 528 MHz which is ARMv6 and 256 MB RAM when 512+MB is best.

If the Google Market says the phone is not compatible, then that means the mobile Firefox will not work on it. Maybe in future if the mobile devs can get builds to work well enouth on ARMv6 as past experimental builds were slow, larger and unstable due to not supporting what ARMv7 can.
