when I type in espn.com, pricegrabber.com comes up. Doesn't happen on my husband's laptop though.

We have the desktop and a laptop. I'm running Windows XP on the desktop and Vista on the laptop. On the desktop, when I type in espn.go.com or, espn.com, pricegrabber.com comes up on the screen. On the laptop, when my husband types in espn, he gets espn, not pricegrabber. I've scanned for viruses and none were found. Not sure what to do next or why this is happening.

You could try clearing the browser history and browser cache in case it is a previously corrupted web page. If that doesn't help, you may have a browser redirect virus. Try running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware or Spybot - Search & Destroy if you haven't already.

Hi weezecat!

Thanks a million -- clearing the history and the cache did the trick. I checked earlier with IE to see if the problem happened with it. It didn't -- just with firefox. If it happens again I'll know what to do. Thanks for you swift reply and Happy New Year!

Marie
