When on the Redbox video site I get the following error message when trying to view DVD info or locating Redbox sites:

Sorry, the request failed. This could be caused by a temporary issue, so please try again (This error has been constant since Firefox installed)

Never had this problem with Internet Explorer.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
