Issues with opening pdf files

more options

I have an issue when it comes to opening pdf files sent via email. The issue occurs on one of the user profiles. That particular user is unable to open pdf attachments. When the file is downloaded, the size of the file appears as 0 kb and the file cannot be opened due to an error saying the file is corrupted. When sent to a different email address the same file opens without a problem using Thunderbird or when downloaded. The issues does not happen everytime a pdf file is sent to the previously mentioned user but it occurs on the majority of pdf files. I am writing this email to inquire about any possible solutions to this problem. I am looking forward to your reply.

Have you cleared out the users system temp folder? I suggest that as a starting point.

I did that, unfortunately the problem still persists. An interesting fact is that I can send an e-mail with an attachment to the same address as a transfer and then the attachment opens.
