As above. Since upgrading to lollipop I cant download anything in firefox. I have tried changing the browser.download.dir to /sdcard/download but nothing. When I try to download anything it toasts saying download started but the download arrow never turns up in the notification bar and nothing happens. I did find a solution that worked but I had a separate issue later and had to factory reset android. The previous fix was a command in terminal emulator. I copied and pasted the command, ran it and immediately I was able to download in firefox again. I cant find the post that contained the command. Any idea what that may have been or another fix? Phone is Galaxy S5 (G900I) Rooted running xtrestolite v2.2 rom on android 5.0 and twrp recovery.

Thanks Andy

There used to be the OI app for managing downloads: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../950273
