Lightning does not display the time in my system format, and I can't find a way to configure it.

There is an article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/996771?esab=a&as=aaq) that says Lightning uses the system time format, but that is not correct. The system is set to display 24-hour time, but Lighting is showing 12-hour time in Thunderbird 31.0.
