I just had a message panel appear asking to upgrade to latest Firefox. I activated it and now I want to know if Firefox sent the message.

Since switching my default browser from Safari to Firefox on my iPhone, I’ve noticed that deep links aren’t working like they used to. For example, an Instagram link that I received through a WhatsApp message used to open the Instagram app, or a LinkedIn link I received through Gmail would open the LinkedIn app. But now they open Firefox instead, which asks me to log in to the web app. I don’t see a Firefox setting to get deep links working again. The “Block Opening External Apps” setting is turned off.
