I installed Firefox years ago. This morning, when I click on the browser icon, I get this message: Error platform '127.0.2' is not compatible with minVersion>= 127.0.1 maxVersion<= 127.0.1

What is going on? The browser updates itself so I don't do anything. But now, it doesn't work. I use an alternate browser to send this message to you.

Since my last upgrade my You Tube starts up in the tiny right hand screen, fails to go to full screen or just disappear unless I close Firefox and restart often multiple times. This only happens on Firefox and only since the last upgrade.

Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. Hello, when in the library, pressing F6 is meant to "Focus Search Field". This is documented at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly

However, since a recent update this no longer works. Instead, pressing F6 now switches the keyboard focus to the lefthand tree pane. A further press of shift+tab is needed to move to the search box.

My questions are: Has F6 stopped jumping to the library search box for anyone else? If so, was this a deliberate design choice? Does anyone know of an alternate keyboard shortcut to jump to the searchbox? Finally, is there anyway to revert to the old F6 behaviour?

Even if you can only answer the first question that would help, so I can determine whether or not it is just my Firefox. Although I have already tested in a brand new profile with the same results.

For the last several weeks (can't give an exact date, but it's been more than just a couple weeks, less than a couple months), both my husband and I have had issues loading videos in FF. We both have the latest version of FF. I went thru "Fix common audio and video issues" and did all those things, as well as trying to load the videos in troubleshooting mode. Nothing has helped (tho now that i cleared all the cache, i'm gonna have to log back into all those websites :( ). Nothing else is problematic. Our internet connection is fine. In fact, my husband has resorted to using MS browser to watch videos--they load fine in that browser. I have no other idea what to do. Searching your database for "youtube videos load slow" only resulted in a couple hits with no resolution. Hopefully this isn't the third. thanks

I'm sort of fed news that are often "Pro-women" by pocket in the name of thought-provoking stories. I feel that this has to do with some brain-washing agenda. I don't want to see these stupid pro-women news slapped on my face every time I open Firefox. How to show "pro-human" news that include both pro-men news and pro-women news?

Right now, I'm seeing many "Feminist news" rather than anti-feminist news. So, I'm completely blinded by one side of the coin. Here's the problem. Even when I see these feminist news, it's always positive about them. There are no "Redpill, MGTOW, MRA, MRM" news which is obviously the other side of the coin and I do see it, it's often negative. I see a bias here. I don't want that bias to be fed to my brain.

In short, I want to see a balanced view or "Pro-male" news because I'm a man. I don't want to be fed all these "Pro-female" news to me.

YouTube has been so slow in Firefox. It just takes a ton of time for the video to actually play. It's just a spinning circle in a video. I can refresh several times and then it plays. I cleared my cache, history, data...etc everything from Firefox. That seemed to help for a bit. Then it just resulted back to being slow. It's just in Firefox. I played videos in Edge. It was fine. No issues. It's just FireFox. It started most recently too. It wasn't happening a week ago. I even tried going back to an old version of Firefox. Didn't help. Anyone know how to fix? Not using ad blockers either FYI. I just want videos to play normally and fast.

Hello, I use Duck Duck Go as a default search engine, with Google and others as alternatives. Since I switched my compter, Firefox resets the default engine back to ebay, which cannot be deleted in the list and also shows up in the address bar. Could you please tell me how to get rid of it? Recently firefox stopped playing audio, I have searched through the settings multiple times, tried safari and google chrome and they both still work so here I am for help.

Running 127.0.1 (64-bit) on EndeavourOS, KDE Plasma, using Wayland. I've had severe crash issues and when troubleshooting I noticed this

Error: Failed to open Wayland display, fallback to X11. WAYLAND_DISPLAY='wayland-0' DISPLAY=':1'

pops up every time I start Firefox via terminal. Why wouldn't Firefox be able to open a Wayland display? Trying to force it with MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 firefox doesn't do anything. I get the same error message.

I recently installed Firefox and I keep getting crash notices, even when it is not open/running...

I have verified this through the task manager...Nothing named Firefox or Mozilla is running...

I don't have this issue with either Brave or Chrome, and I have, and keep updated ESET software, so I KNOW this is a Firefox issue...

Unless this issue can be corrected, I will have no choice but to uninstall it, as I don't need software that crashes even when it is not being used...

So i'm a basic PC user and not a Pro to solve Problems related to Web browsers. İ wonder if this happens to any one out there using Latest version of Firefox. (127.0.2 64bit) PS:İ use a app called user agent switcher to fix freezing or lagging or buffering. İ have read some where on the internet that youtube is doing it on purpose?. This happens only with Firefox but not with Microsoft edge.

Hi, Archived thread on this from 2023 has no answers. Why is this browser so slow now and why is it glitching with resizing my windows? Beyond a total reinstall - how completely inconvenient - I would like an EASY FIX.

Recently Roboform add-on has not been working with Firefox I have made several efforts to ensure that it works automatically filling in passwords as previously but the add-on does not seem stable, afte reloading it works briefly then stops again. Has anyone had this problem and found a resolution? Thanks
