When using university computers, I log in to Firefox Sync so that I have access to my bookmarks and tabs from home. When I do, Firefox will ask to save passwords on my home computer and phone again, even though I had it disabled in the past. Is there a solution for this, other than disabling it manually every time?

Thank you for your time. I'm posting this from my personal computer, so I'm unsure what version of Firefox the university PCs run, but if necessary I can find that information.

There are 48 responses to Sync between laptops, but nothing happens when I click replies.

My connected devices shows one of my Windows 11 laptops, but not the other, and it still shows the Windows 10 desktop which I replaced.

How do I add my  2nd Windows 11 laptop to the device list and then sync everything from the first laptop to the second?

After I've had a window open for between 5 minutes and half an hour, the address bar stops working. I need to open a new window in order for it to work again. I can click on the favorites on the homepage and those work but if I search or input an address into the address bar nothing happens.

I am trying to change my email preferences and the following is occuring: 1) from my account, I select Email Communications, which takes me to 2) https://basket.mozilla.org/fxa/?email=cswaim%40jcrl.net and that prompts me to sign in 3) after signing in, I am displayed https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/newsletter/recovery/ 4) I enter my email address and I am sent a link via email https://clicks.mozilla.org/f/a/8zrp86jZnVL2dfBjXU6Jvw~~/AAQRxQA~/***stuff deleted*** 5) this link takes em to step 2, and the loop continues.

I don't seem to be able to get all information to go to my primary email address, some goes to a secondary email, which is inactive.

Intermittently find browser open on its own @ homepage without any action on my part.

I have a subscription to the FAZ and have always been able to read it in Firefox. Now that I have a new computer with the latest Windows 11 and the latest Firefox, I can no longer open the page https://zeitung.faz.net/. But it works fine in Google Chrome. Please tell me which settings I need to change so that I don't have to change browsers

So i'm using the latest Nightly and have for like 4 days this issue, it never happened before and just after one update it started to happen. I already have set gfx.color_management.native_srgb to true. When I open firefox in troubleshoot mode it is working fine, but when it's normal and I disable all addons and extensions and themes - issue remains

When tabs are inactive for a long time, they are unloaded from memory and their icons disappear. This is inconvenient because you need to manually load each tab to visually see which one is which, so that the icon is loaded. When I close and open the browser, the icons that are present do not disappear, it seems to happen after a while, as if some kind of cache is deleted in the browser. In such suspended tabs, there is also no place for the icon physically, and when I open the tab, the name physically shifts to the right and the icon appears.

Suspended tabs without icons on screenshot 1 are highlighted in red. The 2nd screenshot shows a list of all my extensions. I use Simple Tab Groups to hide tabs, so I have a lot of them and some kind of memory offloading is necessary, but the lack of icons prevents me from using the sessions I created earlier. And Simple Tab Groups most likely does not affect the absence of icons, because when I unload tabs from memory through this extension, the icons remain.

I would be grateful for advice on how to fix the situation.

Firefox is not sending any of the device details so unable to use Firefox with conditional access.

Details like "Managed" and "Join type" would be needed to be able to process it correctly.

Does Firefox support it? If not will it ever be supported or will we have to go back to Edge just so we can sign into Azure sites?

I like to play Caesar's slots and up until two weeks ago it worked just fine, but now something happened. When I open up the site it goes thru the start up process as normal but, when it reaches the play page, it shows that page for a second and then goes to a blank page. The tab says playing Caesars slots, but nothing ever returns.

I just purchased and installed a new laptop. Firefox started this irritating thing that when I'm on the edge of the browser and click, it expands or when I click on the resize square, it gives me about 6 options to choose from instead of one like changing from full page to my set size and back. I have seached google up and down and there must be a setting somewhere even in About: config to turn this option OFF and not have to continue to go through multiple browers with each click
