After installing Firefox on a new Windows 11 laptop, I've noticed some issues with the scroll bar. If I'm trying to view comments on Medium, for example, I am unable to scroll in the comments window as the main page scroll bar blocks it. I did not have this issue with Firefox on my previous Windows 11 laptop. I've tried changing some settings to see if it makes any difference with no success. I found a previous question regarding a similar issue where someone replied with a suggestion to toggle the "Always show scrollbar" option in the General > Browsing settings, however this option does not exist in my settings.

As seen in the attached screenshot, both scroll bars sometimes appear at the same time. However hovering the mouse over them activates the main windows scrollbar, making it impossible to scroll in the comments window. Trying to scroll the comments window with the keyboard arrow keys also does nothing.

I would really appreciate some advice on how I can fix this!

This has only recently happened but PDF comments are no longer displaying in OWA365 when using Firefox. I can open the same email in Edge and they are displayed fine. Strangely, if I go to print the PDF within Firefox, I can see the comments.

I've set my Application to open PDF with Adobe Acrobat Reader but this makes no difference. Is there anything else I can try?

When I open Firefox, it seems like it does not does anything, but then it starts playing a music I was hearing in youtube earlier (like it seems to me that the window is opened somewhere outside of my screen??

If I click a second time in Firefox, then it opens a normal window in my screen as usual, but the other one keeps playing in the back.

I've tried changing screen resolutions, checked that no other monitors were detected, restarted computer,

Not sure what to do next!

I want help to recover bookmarks and password saved on my Firefox browser.

There was a issue with my Windows 11, due to which I was not able to boot on to Windows, hence I don't have the option to export the profile etc. Due to this the only option for me was to copy all the data on C drive through cmd prompt. After having taken all data back, I have reinstalled windows and firefox.

I did some search on the internet to locate the profile files so that I can get back my bookmarks and passwords. However I am unable to locate the same.

Request some guidance and help on this.

Installed 127.0 (20240606181944) from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_Leap_15.5/ and since then I've been unable to:

• Close a window by closing the last tab (the last tab X does nothing)
• The toolbar Account icon has nothing under it, have to go via Settings to manually sync and manage account

I am currently finding that the address bar history search using caret "^", does not always list all the webpages that I have visited, especially if I found the page using the search bar within the site. Is there a way to enable Form and Search History in the most recent versions of Firefox as described in the previous post?

I am a little lazy and i want to open firefox(one window) on my two monitors, i can do this by open firefox then open another tab, then drag to the other monitor, but i want to know if is possible to add a command on the shortcut and do this in one go.

Note: i am using linux mint 20+.

I'd love to find a solution! Sometimes this happens when opening a link from my email (to a well-known retailer as shown in the images below), and at other times it is in response to a website requesting information as part of a 2-factor ID request or, or even a password change. It has become almost almost debilitating! What setting seems to be wrong here.

I use Webroot SecureAnywhere and the relevant updates are applied automatically.

I installed Firefox on a Macbook Pro with Apple Silicon, M3. The installation was from the Firefox site, I downloaded the dmg and then dragged into Applications.

I find that playback of media stutters, and is choppy--not sure of a better way to explain it. E.g., YouTube videos and the Bandcamp player have "stuttered sound". Opening another site in another tab can make this effect worse. Likewise, trying to run Google Meet in a browser window causes basically everything on the computer to become very slow.

This still happens even if I go to "about:profiles" and then "restart with add-ons disabled".

But if I switch to another browser, Safari or Chrome, then I don't have the issue. e.g. I can play YouTube in the background fine even when running some compute intensive task.

I have also tried turning on/off "performance settings" and the "use hardware acceleration" checkbox underneath it -- neither of those seem to have any effect.

Activity Monitor showed that at most Firefox was using ~4 GB of memory of a total 48 GB, and the memory pressure indicator seems to be quite low.

I have run Firefox on other systems (e.g. System76, older Macbook Pro) with multiple windows open each having 20-30 tabs and never had an issue like this.

It really seems like it has something to do with how Firefox is interacting with the M3? Happy to learn I'm wrong. And happy to provide more details about the hardware or my settings if it would help.

I was trying to download ledger live from an official site when I noticed Firefox had twice tried and failed to download an old version of the tor browser I downloaded a long time ago.

A few hours before this happened my pc froze for a minute.

I'm not sure if I have malware on my device or if this is Firefox acting up. My antivirus scan shows nothing.

How do i access Google OneDrive via Firefox so as to delete my sensitive personal info such as financial PDFs and personal pics, which involuntarily got copied to Google OneDrive thru an erroneous mouseClick?

See, when i keyword search online, it states that Google Drive can be accessed via one's browser for purposes of accessing/deleting one's files. (Frankly, i don't even know if OneDrive is GoogleDrive? Is it?

It's upsetting to me that Google has loads of my personal info, because over the years everyone has been saying "Use Gmail", and so i made that my main email due to convenience. But Google now has, for example, some of my personal home photo's and private financial PDFs, all because I absentmindedly clicked my mouse on a risky part of my email attachments, not realizing that would transfer the JPG (or PDF) to Google OneDrive.

I believe this started happening ever since they imposed the New Gmail without giving us a choice. Prior to that, when i used HTMLgmail, i don't recall this happening when i clicked attachments. With Simple HTML, if i clicked an attachment, i saw a photo. It didn't INVOLUNTARILY auto-transfer my pics/pdfs to Google OneDrive, which precisely reminds me of automatic faucets and towel-dispensers and light-shutters in public buildings, all of which are human-unfriendly.

Mission Federal Credit Union account page loads but does not allow account info to load. Mission Federal tech say it is a problem with Firefox. Please fix. same problem through two updates of your software.

My (custom) cursor has recently started being transparent when I hover over a YouTube video. On darker colors it's fine, but on white it's straight up invisible. I tried recording it, but the recording doesn't capture the transparency. This didn't happen before, I changed nothing.

Hello, I have recently downloaded Firefox, and my first impressions have been great, but whilst listening to music on YouTube, I am unable to skip tracks using my Bluetooth headphones. Is this a known issue, and is there an extension I can use to resolve it? Many thanks.

I need to know if this is a safe website for my identity as I've been a victimizing that and I don't need nobody knowing what I'm typing and what I'm googling so I say looking up on the Internet my phone is messed up and I'm taking it back to Cricket today because there was apps installed on my phone that I did not install the security issue and I need to know if this is legit and safe website to use to keep hackers out of my stuff.

I'm using openSUSE Tumbleweed and KDE Plasma. Ever since I updated to Plasma 6.1, Firefox crashes constantly when using Wayland. I'm not having this problem if I'm using X11. Crash reports are sent after every crash so I'm sure someone can reference these. When starting Firefox from a console, I got this message after a crash: "[GFX1-]: Wayland protocol error: wp_linux_drm_syncobj_surface_v1#67: error 5: explicit sync is used, but no release point is set"

Will this get fixed with the next Firefox update? Currently using 127.0.

I have lost recent activity on home screen. There are blank tiles but nothing is being added.Hovering over tiles nothing happens. How do I get recent activity to appear again ?
