I have 2 email accounts thru Thunderbird. My main account has not received email in the past week. Why?

Marking messages as read

When I read an email message, it changes the display from bold blue to bold black in the message list. If I then mark the message as read, the dark black changes to ligh… (மேலும் படிக்க)

When I read an email message, it changes the display from bold blue to bold black in the message list. If I then mark the message as read, the dark black changes to light black. Is there a way to do this once a message has been actually read, without having to mark it as read?

DIsappeared profile

I started Thunderbird yesterday and apparently did not recognize the profile. It required me to completely set up a whole new account for my emails. Consequently I lost a number of important emails. How can I get it back to my original account? And, for future reference, what is the best way to back up the emails in a manner that PDF or microsoft can recognize the format? Please advise.

Hidden emails

Some of my emails are hidden in threads from previous conversations and not showing up as the last email received. If I am not expecting an email then I may never see it… (மேலும் படிக்க)

Some of my emails are hidden in threads from previous conversations and not showing up as the last email received. If I am not expecting an email then I may never see it unless I happen to open up a previous that could be weeks earlier. I hate this and cannot conduct business when I can't see emails coming in . If someone is replying to a previous email , I may never see a new conversation. Only if someone sends an email that is not a reply am I guaranteed to see it. How do I fix this

Suddenly I cannot send emails. I can receive emails. I have checked my account settings and they are correct as follows: Charter Communications mail.twc.com port 587 Starttls normal password ggordets@san.rr.com. I contacted Spectrum and we proved that the problem is not them by initiating an outgoing email to myself using webmail. I even tried uninstalling and re-installing Thunderbird. As indicated above my email is ggordets@san.rr.com

Profile Back up number of files increased after Cox-Yahoo conversion

I back up my TB profile every few months. I just went thru the Cox-Yahoo email conversion and I am getting emails. When I did my back up, I noticed in the properties it had one more folder and the files went from 1311 to 2585 files. Is something wrong? Do I need to compare and research what is causing this or just move on!

Hello! We are a real dues-paying member, having made a number of donations over the years. We have been having trouble with emails received from Microsoft-based systems, with the HTML formatting of messages getting lost and the attachment of a winmail.dat file, which we can't open. We tried to use your Lookout add-on, but with all of the permissions that must be given in order to use that add-on, it will not pass our IT security folks. Is there any chance you will be able to improve Thunderbird to read those messages without having to use the add-on? We really hate Microsoft, and would prefer to stay on your team, but we will not be able to unless a solution can be found.

How to copy an email address from my Personal Address Book into a sub folder of a group?

Sorry for the bad pun.

Now, when I try to click and drag, it will NOT go into that subfolder. I looked in Help and there were answers about csv files, about a horizontal or vertical view, etc. None of that made sense to me.

So I'm wondering if it's still somehow an easy thing to do, to duplicate someone's email in one or more other folders. It seems like it should be! Thanks, Su

It leaves us with the only option to play voicemails aloud while clients are going in and out of the lobby, which we find unprofessional. Please help us fix this!

In my inbox I see a couple of emails that (once opened, or even seeing preview) are not associated correctly to the original email sent or received. It's quite odd as it happened only a couple of times, but even after updating, rebooting and moving these messages, they are still showing the wrong addressee and content.

When I send an email to agmail eddress it fails, saying something about SPF having a hard fail and no DDKM, whatever that means. If I send emails from webmail ro my iPad they get through. Can this be solved, please?

I've been trying to get Thunderbird (102.6.0) to filter messages based on message body contents that contain specific URLs (such as "https://docsend.com"), but it's not working. I even tried setting emails to be viewed in plain text (as opposed to HTML), but that also didn't work.

How can I achieve this?

I've been a user for years and never notice downloads from spam or trash before. New change to Tbird? Is there some way to exclude spam and trash folders from download? I'm trying to change my signature on an account I've had for sometime. It lets me make the changes I want and when I try sending a message it works fine. However when I close Thunderbird down and re open it, the signature has reverted to the previous version. I can't see any option to save the changes to the account settings so they'll still be there next time.

I've tried it 2 ways - firstly editing the HTML signature text, and secondly attaching instead a signature file. In both cases it works fine until I close and re-open.
