I just downloaded the new Firefox and I'm having trouble with CTRL F ("find" shortcut) it no longer stays on my screen when I switch screens. I need it to stay up all the time. How can I change this? Thanks.

The find bar was changed to per tab instead of the whole window.

This addon can fix that change back to the old behavior.

You can press the F3 key to make the Find bar appear automatically and perform a search with the previously used search terms.
Only the Find bar is hidden, but the last used search term is remembered.

I'm surel someone thought it was a good idea, but it wasn't. Why should I have to use an add-on to make up for someone's bad idea.

Sometimes people pull up several pages looking for a particular word or phrase, especially when using Google. Did anyone think of that? This is the first time that Mozilla has made me really mad.

You don't seem to realize that your most important customers are those who have used Firefox so often for years that using it has become second nature. Changes in use should never be somebody's whim.
